The Under 8 Founders Cup is given in honor of Mr Gerald Schroeter and Ms. Betsy Schroeter. Mr. Gerald Schroeter is the founder and first President of the Henry County Soccer Association. His admiration, devotion and recognition are honored throughout the soccer community.

Ms. Betsy Schroeter established the association, created and served on the Henry County Soccer Association Board. Ms. Schroeter began the "Girls Only" soccer league. Her time, talent and devotion is untainted.
