The Hot Shots are conducting open evaluations for players over the age of 19 interested in joining their roster for the spring 2010 season. The Hot Shots are an adult women’s soccer team based in Henry County and play in the Greater Atlanta Women’s Soccer Association (GAWSA).

Players should have a minimum of high level club or college soccer experience, as the team competes in Division One of GAWSA. There is no age limit. Evaluations will be Saturday, January 9 from 10:00 AM – 12:00PM and Sunday, January 10 from 1:00 PM-3:00PM. Interested players are requested to attend both sessions. Old Soccer Gear For Kenya

And here’s why I want your old gear....

I'm planning on going over to Kenya this summer (mid-June) and I am putting on a soccer camp for an orphanage (possibly two) that has a couple of hundred kids living there. So my hopes are to find some families that are interested in donating old soccer stuff -- like jerseys, balls, socks, shorts -- or even other soccer related stuff like cleats, turf shoes, indoor shoes, cones, pennies, nets, shin guards, etc…
