High School soccer teams are moving to the second round of state playoffs next week. Several county teams are advancing. All of the county high school teams are stocked with multiple current or former Henry County Soccer Association players. HCSA congratulates the accomplishments of these players and is proud to be a part of their soccer development.

In the state playoff games these teams need strong home town support, and your players can benefit by increasing their own tactical understanding of soccer by watching older players on the field. Please come out and support these HCSA kids and cheer them on. Tickets are $7 at the gate, but tickets for students(children) can be pre-bought at the individual schools for $5.

First round results:

Girls: Eagles Landing won 15-0, Dutchtown won 13-0, Union Grove won 6-0, Luella lost 1-3, Stockbridge lost 1-0,

Boys: Luella won 1-0, Eagles Landing won 13-1, Henry County Boys won 6-0, Union Grove Boys lost 3-1.
