Thunder United first faced GRTR Arlington SC. The game ended early in the second half with a mercy rule, Thunder United won 12 to 1. After a break, Thunder United next opponent was the Riptide SC and when the whistle blew, Thunder United had won 11 to 2. In round 3 ,Thunder United had a bye and enjoyed Jekyll Island the rest of the day. Sunday morning for round four it was Thunder United vs Gators, Thunder United won 10 to 4. After a couple of hours of rest , round 5 it was Thunder United vs GISA United and Thunder United took the lead early and at half time the score was 3 to 1. The second half started off with GISA United scoring but Thunder United added two goal of there own the final was Thunder United 5, GISA United 2. The undefeated Thunder United had won their division and earned the right to play for the championship game against the Bad Boys which had a record of 3-1. The game started off with the Bad Boys scoring first, then again. Thunder United did not give up and came back to even the game at 2 . In the second half the Bad Boys scored 3 unanswered goals and won the game 5 to 2. This was a great game . Thunder United represented HCSA Association well. Thunder United finished second out of 10 teams and are qualified for the National 3 v 3 tournament in Disney , July 2008. Thunder United has already been invited to play at the January's National 3v3 tournament and this makes it the 2nd National tournament that we have qualified for. We could not be not have been more proud of these kids and their accomplishments in 3v3 soccer at this young age.
